Kristin Elise is a true Texas girl, born and raised in Austin, Texas.  From the first time she cut her own bangs in first grade, she knew that becoming a hairstylist was her calling. Kristin received her Shampoo Permit in 2012 while still in high school.  She is Redken educated (TSPA) and she apprenticed at Austin’s top salon for their wedding hair specialist. Kristin has been a part of many weddings and celebrations at some of the most fantastic venues in the greater Austin area.   She has also done runway makeup and hair at Austin’s Fashion Week and has been a stylist for print campaigns. Kristin recently completed advanced education with Redken, and is now a  certified Redken Colorist - joining an elite group of stylists who are committed to taking their careers to the next level. Kristin loves color and has a talent for creating the perfect shade for each of her clients.  She is experienced in techniques such as balayage, ombre, and root smudge, and continues to seek out education making sure her guests receive the most up-to-date hair trends available.  She is also certified in HotHeads extensions.  The one-of-a-kind looks Kristin Elise is able to create reflect both her guests’ inner beauty and personality while highlighting her passion and dedication to the craft of hairdressing!
